An Exploration

of Being

The first time most of us are likely to have encountered the name ‘Ennead’ (n. enneas, Greek for ‘group of nine’), is in its applied form for the widely popular personality test referred to as the Enneagram. This oft-consulted diagram presents a functional typology of nine interconnected facets of the human psyche, providing indications on how these different personality types may interact, complement or clash with one another.
